| What’s the buzz? This bakery-café really rocks, standing out as a gathering place for young moms, coffee drinkers, and even a few who work on their laptops. Pastry chef Tiffany MacIsaac provides an array of goodies, from morning waffles to nighttime sandwiches and wines. Try the fat chocolate chip cookie or a buttery scone, and you may wish that Buzz had several metro area branches. But perhaps the trick is really to sit and enjoy the polished atmosphere and the choices of coffees, other beverages, and assorted sweet and savory baked goods. As it turns out, you can make a meal here with an order of Jamaican beef pie or jambalaya, accompanied by pear sorbet and a caramelized banana tartlet. And, yes, a brownie or two. |
