Café Bernardo was founded on the idea that food can be healthy, fresh and tasty, even though it is served quickly and at a small price. And that keeps people coming back for the vegetarian and non-red-meat items like the pan-seared salmon served with garlic mashed potatoes, French green beans and cherry tomatoes and lemon-basil butter at Bernardo; or the salad samplers and the surprisingly tasty turkey burger. The dishes are creative and carefully crafted from first-class ingredients and served in a vibrant, sexy ambiance---at prices that are substantially below what you’d pay for the same experience anywhere else. We don’t mind at all having to stand in line and ordering it ourselves.
