Cafe des Amis Restaurant Review: This café offers a cozy, eclectic ambience with wooden tables and colorful Pop art. The moderately priced menu is just as diverse, with a wide array of crêpes and Indian curries. For big appetites, we recommend the Mediterranean platter for two, which comes with no less than hummus, olives, yogurt-mint dip, marinated feta, garlic mushroom salad, roast vegetables, tomato pesto salad and pita bread. If you’re still hungry after that, we also suggest the Brie, avocado and apple crêpe with black pepper, served with a small side of field greens and vinaigrette dressing. The bountiful breakfast and sweet crêpes, and the immense bowls of curry, served with rice and mango chutney, are all satisfying. |
