| It’s generally a fun night at Fiore, whether you sit in the cozy lounge area up front with a warm fireplace, at the tall dark wood bar in the center of the room or at one of the outdoor tables on the side patio. There’s a full martini menu, making for a raucous experience, especially on weekends. Tuesday through Saturday nights, entertainment comes in the form of live music (from a jazz trio to a full band) and DJs. The Italian owners have run through several chefs since opening and, depending on who’s cooking, the food can be considerably less attractive than the ambience. Expect antipasti like steamed mussels, fried calamari, carpaccio and bruschetta. The pizza is your safest best, with topping options like grilled eggplant, garlic rapini, artichokes, prosciutto and fresh buffalo mozzarella. Pastas run the gamut from butternut squash-filled ravioli in a sage cream sauce to spaghetti with tiny napoleon meatballs. Osso buco and grilled steaks provide heartier options. A spa menu focuses on grilled fish and whole-wheat pasta dishes without cream, while an extensive dessert menu provides temptation. Chocolate lovers will go for a chocolate-coated chocolate cake and mint ice cream bon bon. |
