Cafe Gelato Restaurant Review: Open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. (Friday-Saturday to midnight) in Bellagio’s pool promenade, this comfortable parlor is perfect for guests in need of a sweet retreat. Multi-color tile walls back the display cases, wicker chairs and tables with granite tops fill the cozy dining area. We like the grilled chicken Gruyère and the peppered roast beef sandwiches and the chicken Caesar salad, accompanied by the choice of milk shakes, juices, Chai tea, lattes, cappuccinos and espresso. Among the 50 gelato, ice cream and sorbet flavors, our favorites are rum raisin, pistachio and banana-toffee crunch. The sticky buns, chocolate croissants, apple strudel, huge bear claws and cinnamon rolls are terrific, too.
