Café Modern’s food is easily as artful as its surroundings. Competing with the creations of Jackson Pollock and Andy Warhol just a few rooms away are the offerings designed and plated by chef Denise Shavandy. Menu highlights include a starter of smoked bone marrow custard and main dishes like the braised beef cheek and crispy striped bass. Don’t miss desserts, especially the sticky toffee pudding or the Mexican chocolate pot de crème. Linger over coffee or another glass of wine while gazing at the reflecting pool and the museum’s stone-steel-glass architecture.
