Cafe Ragazzi Restaurant Review

: This Surfside neighborhood restaurant has grown up: an expanded space has let some much-needed air into the previously noisy, but always festive, trattoria. Dive into deep bowls of homemade pastas like raviolini di vitello (spinach pasta stuffed with veal mousse in sage-seasoned cream sauce). Seafood and fresh porcini mushroom risottos are also done well. A simple, lightly breaded zucchini fritti, served with spicy fra diavolo, is a spirited starter, and for meat-lovers, osso buco, though not always available, is a worthy rendition. Warmly friendly waiters tend glasses, assuring that nobody thirsts for either water or Chianti or another of the decent Italian wines available by the glass.
