| While most people smile at the name, they are not sure what to expect at Café Tu Tu Tango. An eclectic hangout, Tu Tu Tango is technically a tapas eatery, serving appetizer-size entrées, which arrive as they are prepared. Servers suggest ordering many starters---along with a pitcher of the house sangría---to share with everybody at the table. Done this way, the food comes in waves, a flurry of culinary activity. Throughout the dining room, you'll find many artistic endeavors---from artists painting on easels to belly-dancing and flamenco demonstrations, a tarot card reader and magician. You also may find yourself dizzy with options when reading the menu. Food spans many nations, from flaming Greek cheese to mahi mahi tacos to duck confit salad. Other standouts include dynamite shrimp tossed in chili-garlic aïoli and the signature Cajun chicken egg rolls. |
