California Pizza Kitchen Restaurant Review: California Pizza Kitchen’s two dozen crispy-thin pizzas include all the standards plus daring creations involving Jamaican jerk chicken, pears and Gorgonzola and eggplant. You can also choose from several pasta dishes; we recommend the Thai linguine with spicy peanut-ginger sauce. On the lighter side, the Moroccan chicken salad with dates and beets is an intriguing choice. Salad portions are large, so keep in mind that you can get a half-order. Soups, appetizers, sandwiches made with hearth-baked focaccia and filling desserts --- think hot fudge brownie sundae and apple crisp --- round out the menu. A number of decent wines-by-the-glass are available.
