| CPK tends to meet most expectations, and menu items such as sweet corn tamale raviolis, Cabo crab cakes and grilled steak tacos may deflect some attention away from the eclectic pizzas. Included in that category are pesto chicken, cheeseburger and meat-cravers models. Among the pizza standards are the roasted garlic chicken, with its garlic-shallot butter, and the barbecued chicken, the most popular of the pizzas. If you can tear yourself away from the pies, try one of the pastas; we recommend the Thai linguine with spicy peanut-ginger sauce. Another Asian option, the crisp Chinese chicken salad, is also satisfying. Salad portions are large, so keep in mind that you can get a half-order. Soups, appetizers, sandwiches made with good hearth-baked focaccia and filling desserts round out the menu. |
