THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Callie's Hot Little Biscuit Restaurant Review:

Owner Carrie Morey, who founded her thriving little business in Charleston, says her grandmother always opined that it wasn't ladylike to eat a big biscuit. So these are small and fluffy. They’re tasty, handmade, butter-and-cream rich and not cheap. Prepare to pay about $8 for a biscuit stuffed with scrambled egg, sausage and pimento cheese (fiery is an option). Add-ons cost 50 cents, and include homemade jam, Carolina honey, flavored butters and chopped bacon, among other delectables. Shortcakes and grits also are on offer. French press coffee completes the meal. Biscuits and other items may be ordered and shipped. Seating is scarce in this gleaming white space, whose decorative elements include stacked sacks of White Lily flour, the essential ingredient for making the proper Southern biscuit, no matter its style.
