THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Camden Brasserie Restaurant Review:
Every neighbourhood should have its own Camden Brasserie, a model in how a successful, local restaurant should be run. The original Uruguayan brothers, Julio and Enrique, might have retired back to Punte del Este, but the other two co-owners continue to welcome enthusiastic locals. It majors on grills, all accompanied by tip top pommes frites, and has a regular menu that also takes in dishes like duck confit as well as daily specials. The menu has expanded and has a good brunch selection and there are set meals served noon to 7pm Monday to Friday (2 courses £12.95, 3 courses £15.95). The feel is of a French brasserie, but it’s better than many in France.
