THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Capistrano's Restaurant Review: At lunch and brunch, Capistrano’s is bright, open and airy. Lots of plants and an indoor fountain create a lush, tropical ambience that’s romantic at dinner. Sunday brunch is served buffet-style with stations for pastries, salads, seafood, waffles, omelets, roast beef and more. In addition to dinner entrées like cioppino and Chianti-marinated top sirloin with roasted mushrooms and grilled radicchio, the menu offers quite a few salads, sandwiches, pastas and pizza choices. A charbroiled tuna steak is served with wasabi mayonnaise atop a grilled sweet roll, and a roasted eggplant and portobello panino is made with a Fontina and Boursin cheese spread. A Parmesan-crusted chicken breast comes sliced and laid over linguine, while grilled filet mignon is paired with au gratin potatoes and a red wine reduction. Service is attentive.
