Capital Q Smokehouse Restaurant Review: A former meat market where they once smoked kielbasa and other sausages is now home to some of the most authentic barbecue you’ll find in New York. Choose from pulled pork in Okie-, North Carolina-, Kansas City- or South Carolina-style; St. Louis-cut pork ribs; Kansas City ribs; Memphis ribs; beef brisket; or chicken by the pound or by the plate. Side dishes include coleslaw, maple-glazed sweet potatoes, fried okra, collards and cornbread. Top it all off with a house-cured spicy garlic pickle. Plan on take-out. Two picnic tables are available outside in summertime. Credit cards aren't accepted but there's an ATM in the place so you can get cash. |
