| For years The Caprice was the Cadillac of Marin restaurants: prestigious, upscale and pretty dull except for the fabulous bay view. But its old-fashioned menu, formal service and location make it a favorite of conservative diners as well as those seeking some romance. Caesar salad and rack of lamb appear alongside modern dishes like seared sea scallops with braised cucumbers in a ginger beurre blanc, and a seafood medley in a bamboo steamer basket.
