The Caprice Restaurant Review: For 55 years Tiburon's The Caprice was the Cadillac of Marin restaurants: prestigious, upscale, even a little predictable except for the over-the-water location. But it was remodeled in 2010 to be brighter and more contemporary. There are a few outdoor tables now to take advantage of the amazing views of Angel Island and San Francisco. The menu features special early bird prix-fixe dinners for under $20 or $25, depending on the night, and California cuisine as well as French-inspired dishes. While still on the expensive side, menu prices have dropped, so it’s not just for special occasions anymore. |
