Captain Jim's Seafood Market & Restaurant Restaurant Review

: Captain Jim Hanson still supplies his namesake seafood market and eatery from his fleet of boats but has a new partner to run day-to-day operations. There are display coolers where fish are on beds of ice and a raw bar with stone crabs (in season), soft shell crabs, oysters and Ipswich clams. The restaurant adjacent to the market has been spiffed up and the plastic has been replaced with real flatware, plates and glasses. There’s still the signature crab salad and crab cakes, conch chowder, Key West shrimp cocktail and whole fried snapper, but prices have gone up. The menu also includes shrimp po’ boys, lobster rolls and bread pudding with rum sauce plus beer on tap.
