| Under the stewardship of Olivier de Saint Martin, this casual café has become a true Gallic experience. Cheese soufflé for lunch, skate or cassoulet for dinner, and standout frites are only a few of the things that de Saint Martin brings to the menu. The happy hour is popular, as are the chef's prix-fixe menus: $16 for lunch and $29 for dinner, and the selection of 25 bottles of wine for $25 nightly after 8 p.m. The ambience spills out onto the sidewalk when the weather is fine. A late-serving bar menu ensures a croque monsieur before bedtime, along with gourmet toasts with unusual toppings spread on country French bread and a petite salad.
