| Caribou Coffee shops are becoming a ubiquitous part of any strip mall, but the warm, knotty pine interiors are less generic than the closest rival. This one makes a rather cozy spot to set up the laptop (WiFi service is available here and at many other Caribou’s, but not at all locations). We like the Caramel High Rise with one of the cinnamon chip scones or french toast muffins. During the holidays, we can't resist the eggnog-driven Fa La Latte and Ho Ho Mint Mocha; come summer, the iced chai and the creamy espresso cooler hit the spot. And for those forgoing caffeine, there's a healthy array of smoothies (try the passion fruit-green tea). |
