Carytown Burgers & Fries Restaurant Review

: A gentrified hamburger shack, this eatery stands by its whopping burgers (plain, with cheese and/or bacon or chili, or one of many specialties like the Kojak with bacon, egg and cheese) dripping with all the trimmings and sided by hot, salty fries. Add to this a thick shake (made with milk from grass-fed, hormone-free cows, thank you very much) and you’ve just created the classic American lunch. It’s hard to imagine ordering anything else, though the menu does offer a chicken tender or chicken club sandwich. Extras are the usual coleslaw and chili choices, plus an unusual chicken fried salad. If you don’t do meat, though, don’t worry. There are garden, Boca and portobello sandwiches. Limited beer and wine, too. This place is about as casual as Mom’s kitchen table. And just like at Mom’s, dessert might be cookies. Or maybe another round of tater tots with cheese, please.
