Catch 35 Restaurant Review: The range of seafood choices is so deep, you may feel as though you should pull up a deck chair to aid further study. Some preparations are given an Asian spin (mussels steamed in lemon grass broth); we find these to be the most successful. However, tried and true, fluffy crab cakes with corn relish and rémoulade are light on filler. White wine-lemon grass-steeped mussels are a good alternative. Sea scallops are always cooked right (as in not overdone) and they’re prepared with mustard-soy glaze, garlic-chive aïoli and Parmesan risotto. You'll find a few token non-seafood dishes (chicken, steak), too. Desserts to focus on are the Key lime pie and the deep-dish apple pie. The atmosphere is understated yet sophisticated, with the kind of subtle lighting that makes it date-appropriate. Also located at 35 S. Washington St., Naperville, 630-717-3500.
