The Catch Restaurant Review:

This bright, comfortable venue is a welcoming place for a pre-show bite or a pre-game drink, as it is located within walking distance of The Grove of Anaheim and Angel Stadium. But it’s much more than a pre-event meeting place. Executive chef Cory Rapp --- who honed his craft as sous chef at Thomas Keller's restaurant Ad Hoc --- oversees a streamlined contemporary menu that is marked by nuanced flavors and ingredient purity. After you grab a cocktail, glass of wine or a selection from the deep roster of craft beers, order one of the tartares; both the Prime sirloin and the ahi versions allow the simple flavor of the main product to shine through. If you would prefer something from the earth, try the tri-colored beet salad with whipped lemon-scented goat cheese and a lemon-poppy vinaigrette. Rapp handles the restaurant's signature Chilean sea bass dish with aplomb, and his skill is evident in the menu's smartly prepared steak and chop entrées. Traditional desserts like the red velvet cake are reason to stop by for a finishing bite after the last out has been recorded. There's also plenty of incentive to stop by when the Angels are on the road: the baseball plate-shaped bar features an extended and affordable happy hour, which lasts from 2 p.m.-7 p.m. on weekdays and 4 p.m.-7 p.m. on weekends when the Halos aren't playing at home.
