Central Market Cafe Restaurant Review: Who wouldn't be hungry after seeing aisle after aisle of eye-catching produce, meats and cheeses? Central Market brings its products from the shelves to the table in a wholesome and cozy café situated far enough away from the upscale grocery store that most diners aren’t doubling as shoppers. Steaming cappuccinos, milky teas and fruit muffins are favorites for early birds, who take advantage of the uncluttered, capacious indoor dining room to spend the morning. Lunching on the sprawling patio is lovely, especially when enjoying a grilled Cuban sandwich or the refreshing Asian chicken salad with cabbage, bean sprouts, fried wontons and a spicy honey-sesame dressing. Margherita pizzas and a savory pork vindaloo are among entrées, though the nightly specials often get top billing. It’s equally hard to go wrong with the gourmet burgers or panini. Live music Thursday through Sunday is often top blues, jazz, Americana and world music acts. The south location in the Westgate Shopping Center offers a similar menu and atmosphere.
