Central Market Cafe Restaurant Review: Who wouldn't be hungry after seeing aisle after aisle of eye-catching produce, meats and cheeses? Central Market brings its products from the shelves to the table in a wholesome, cozy café, situated separate enough from the upscale grocery store that most diners aren’t doubling as shoppers (this trip). Steaming cappuccinos, milky teas and fruit muffins are favorites for early birds, who take advantage of the uncluttered, capacious indoor dining room to spend the morning. Lunching on the sprawling patio is lovely, especially when enjoying a grilled Cuban sandwich or the refreshing Asian chicken salad with cabbage, bean sprouts, fried wontons and a spicy honey-sesame dressing. Margherita pizzas and a savory pork vindaloo are among our favorite entrées, though the nightly specials often get top billing. It’s equally hard to go wrong with the gourmet burgers or panini. The south location --- situated in the Westgate Shopping Center --- offers a similar menu and atmosphere.
