| Those seeking an alternative to the greasy, Americanized south-of-the-border meal need turn no further than this restaurant. Centro provides Sacramento with a lively atmosphere, friendly service and authentic, regional Mexican fare --- not to mention a selection of more than 150 tequilas. The menu draws from regions throughout Mexico. Starters include chicken tostadas and pork chalupas, while mains range from Michoacan-style grilled skirt steak and Veracruz grilled fish, to pork and hominy stew from Jalisco. Come every second Thursday of the month for a tequila social, or weekdays for $3 happy hour specials. |
