| Dramatic views of a waterfall and the Byram River may obscure the fact that this Italian restaurant, located in a renovated carpet mill, is actually part of a chain. Secure a window table or dine al fresco on the terrace, taking in the sound of the cascading water below. A family-friendly vibe includes crayons provided for doodling on the crisp white butcher paper that serves as a tablecloth. The kitchen’s large repertoire is a cut above what you might expect amid all the distracting bells and whistles. Try the personal-size quattro stagione pizza with prosciutto, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, roasted peppers, mozzarella and tomato sauce, or the Americano with tomato sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan and pepperoni. Among large plates, go for the mixed grill platter of filet mignon, chicken, sweet sausage, garlic scallion butter, baked Parmesan fries and broccoli. Finish with tiramisu for dessert, if you have room. Service is prompt and unobtrusive. |
