 Chakra Restaurant & Lounge Restaurant Review: This stylish Beverly Hills destination offers contemporary Indian cuisine in a vibrant setting. The main dining room is draped in classic Indian décor and opens up to a bar, which is illuminated by crimson, gold and deep purple hues. Outdoor seating is available on two patios featuring cabanas, Mandarin orange trees and a large fire pit. The menu offers classic Indian dishes, including samosas, chicken tikka masala, lasooni champen (tandoori rack of lamb) and Goan shrimp curry. A wide selection of California wines make up the bulk of the wine list. Seven fruity and colorful "Chakratinis" are the highlight of the bar menu, offered as tastings or simply singular cocktails. The venue is large enough to accommodate up to 300 guests for private parties and a separate VIP room is available for intimate gatherings. A water wall feature and restaurant-wide Wi-Fi access add to the fun. |
