Chart House Restaurant Review

: A spectacular view of the marina is but one of the pleasures of dining at Chart House; the others are the food, service and ambience. But mostly, it’s the food. Seafood and steakhouse offerings are refined but not cutting edge. A hodgepodge of appetizers includes the tasty and visually striking crab, avocado and mango stack made with jumbo lump crab meat tossed in a well-made rémoulade, layered with silky avocado and tangy sweet mango. Entrées are generous and varied, ranging from those simply grilled and finished with lemon butter to over-the-top signature dishes such as Snapper Hemingway, the fish encrusted with Parmesan and topped with jumbo lump crab meat drizzled with lemon shallot butter. Despite the tempting ingredients, choose the uncomplicated fare. For dessert, select either the hot chocolate lava cake created with Godiva liqueur or the Grand Marnier soufflé. The wine list is not extensive but carefully chosen to match the fare.
