| This room in the heart of Chinatown looks more like a pizza parlor than anything else. Booths made of plastic, mismatched cushions and resin furniture comprise the décor. But the all-hours, all-types crowd doesn’t seem to mind. They come for seafood, mainly from China’s southern provinces, fashioned from both the typical (shrimp, squid, clams) and the unusual (abalone, shark’s fin). There are plenty of noodles, soups and meat dishes for those who would prefer to stay out of the ocean. |
