| It looks like a clapboard house in an old neighborhood, complete with a Madonna statue in the sideyard, but it’s actually a restaurant that’s been in business since 1921. The fiction is that you have to know somebody to get in, and with its long list of regulars, you’d almost believe that's true. The portions are large and generally Italian-American favorites, such as veal Parmigiana and pasta with any sauce. The ricotta pie is a satisfying dessert. Service is efficient if a bit theatrical. |
