The old building, wobbly metal chairs and minimalist surroundings set the scene for spicy homemade salsa that will keep your chips dipping into the bowl one after the other. Plato "Garcia" (named for the owner) is a combination plate of beef, chicken, shrimp, rice, beans and non-stop homemade tortillas that serves four to six people. But go for the enchiladas---a big platter of rolled tortillas stuffed with shredded meat and accompanied by refried beans and rice. Fajita lovers will enjoy the sizeable strips of grilled beef, peppers and onions. Another good option is the grilled shrimp and catfish filet cooked in seasoned garlic butter and plated with rice and fresh avocado salad. Ask your server to accompany any of these dishes with an ice-cold beer in a frosted mug.
