| This chain draws families and a younger crowd to its colorful restaurants. The Tex-Mex theme is played out in Saltillo-tiled floors, Mexican-tiled tables, ceiling fans and artifacts. One running theme is coyote tracks strategically embedded in the floor tiles of every Chili's. The restaurants serve premium margaritas and feature all the usuals---nachos, wings, chili con queso. Fajitas, ribs and burgers dominate the menu, but you can get a veggie burger or grilled chicken too. For calorie counters, stick to the Guiltless Grill menu, which includes fat grams and calorie totals. If you’re not worried about your waistline, the chocolate chip paradise pie or chocolate brownie sundae await. Ask about dinner for two for $20, or the $6 lunch combo if you want to indulge for less. |
