Remember that preprom restaurant where you blew a wad of Dad’s cash before the big dance? Christophe’s is just the sort of opulent spot where self-important students seek indulgence. If you’re out to impress, order the Caesar salad or the pâté to start. Among the rather unimaginative entrées, the Muscovy duck breast is a good choice. Perhaps the best part of the meal is the wine menu, which reads a bit like a wine lover’s wish list. For a slightly more relaxed and intimate experience, reserve one of the plush booths, far less formal than the stiff table seating.
