Ciao Bella Restaurant Review: Every kind of diner feels at home at Ciao Bella, from couples to the diehard sports fan focused on a game while seated at the bar. The romantic ambience of the grotto caters to date-night patrons, while families might prefer the warm, inviting main dining room. The kitchen turns out classic Italian and Greek comfort fare. An Italian fish stew and spicy yellowfin tuna with capellini indicate the breadth of the seafood dishes. Traditional pastas, such as manicotti and spaghetti with meatballs, are available in whole or half-portions. Flatbreads are topped with unique combinations of ingredients, such as shrimp with garlic hummus or balsamic beef brisket with smoked cheddar. Special dietary requirements, such as vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free, are accommodated upon request --- for example, orecchiette with chickpeas, tomato and mint in white wine sauce (it will come with feta cheese, so if you're vegan ask to have it left off). House-made sorbetti and gelati rank among our favorite desserts. The small wine list offers labels mostly from California and Italy.
