| When this casual Mt. Vernon eatery added an airy dining room and full dinner menu to its original quick-service café, it brought a much-needed venue to midtown, with great appeal for neighborhood residents and theatergoers alike. The redecorated dining room is a winner, with modern styling, mid-century accents, and large windows bringing in a view of Eager Street. The updated, upscaled menu features contemporary American fare both lavish and light, ranging from a Moroccan lamb burger to bison pot roast to porcini-crusted sea scallops with lobster potatoes. Weekends bring an à la carte brunch. |
