THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES TO HUBERT’S SPORTS BAR & GRILL. It’s hard to miss this basketball-themed eatery in the Target Center. Out on the street, a huge lighted basketball drops through a giant-size hoop. Step inside, and you can practice free throws, have your photo digitalized in with NBA greats and shop for NBA merchandise. The restaurant features a mock-gymnasium floor and menu covers that feel like a basketball, plus loads of flatscreens around the room and above the centerpiece courtside bar. We love any of the walleye offerings; and if the daily special features walleye tacos, be sure to order them. The Philly cheesesteak sandwich is big enough to feed two (or one large basketball player). It’s loaded with thinly-sliced steak, melty cheese and a pile of mushrooms, onions and peppers. Burgers, pizzas and steaks are also topnotch. Finish off with the 3 Point Carrot Cake that could feed a team.
