 Clancy's Clubhouse Restaurant Review: Located within a few blocks of Angel Stadium and the Honda Center, Clancy’s Clubhouse offers the type of casual ambience typical of the sports-themed milieu, where patrons can grab one of 12 beers on tap, cast their gaze on a high-definition TV and root for the home team. The cooking is a nice combination of classic and upscale comfort fare, with an eye toward local and sustainable ingredients. Lead things off with a hefty plate of sweet, tangy mango habanero wings or a helping of cheese- or gravy-topped hand-cut fries. Balance things out with the dried cranberry and goat cheese-enhanced clubhouse salad, which is dressed with a refreshing Champagne-peach vinaigrette. Those looking to settle in with hearty cuisine will enjoy the traditional meatloaf or one of the fully customizable burgers, while the pan-seared sea bass and the stout-braised short ribs are ideal for those looking to go out of bounds with their entrée.
