| Although it's a bit dilapidated on the outside, Classen Grill is an institution in Oklahoma City, and it's an especially popular joint for breakfast, which is served throughout the day. If you're up at the crack of dawn, be sure to have a glass of the fresh-squeezed orange juice. Try the French-style omelets, adding your choice of ingredients such as sautéed mushrooms or sliced avocado, or go for the eggs Benedict or biscuit debris. The Memphis french toast is stuffed with peanut butter, bananas and honey and dipped in cinnamon batter. But don't skip the home-style lunch items like the salmon patties or the garden burger---and don't bypass the bread pudding for dessert. |
