| Part of a local restaurant group, this casual pizzeria focuses primarily on, well, pizza. The restaurant’s motto is to achieve pizza perfection, and to do that, the owners use super-hot anthracite coal for baking pizzas; house-made dough, sauces and mozzarella; and the freshest ingredients. The pizzas are tasty, if you crave something artisanal and not bulk made. And if you come hankering for something other than a hot pie with traditional toppings, you can select one of the salads, pasta dishes (such as the Creole with andouille sausage and spicy chicken) and hefty sandwiches filled with meatballs, beef brisket or cold cuts. The menu is simple, the service is speedy, and the whole setup guarantees a pleasant, casual meal. |
