THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Colony Restaurant Review: While there are only three choices for steak here (New York, rib-eye and filet mignon), they are cut, seasoned and cooked to order. In addition to first-rate beef, choose from a variety of locally inspired seafood dishes like the pulehu (Hawaiian salt-spice rub) mahi mahi with a wasabi beurre blanc or a selection of sushi. The décor is elegant in tones of beige and gold with soft lighting and gleaming wood floors. The restaurant exudes a calm grace and conversation is easy; the only possible distraction is the primal view of meat cooking over an open flame.
