The Conche Restaurant Review:

About the restaurant & chef: Unique and a must destination for chocoholics, The Conche in Leesburg fulfills everyone’s dream of luscious chocolate --- and cocoa-infused dishes and drinks. To start, its cocoa-colored décor sets the tone and tells patrons they have just jumped into chocolate heaven. That’s all thanks to the chef/owner and talented baker and chocolate master, Santosh Tiptur, who has made a name for himself after working at DC’s chocolate eatery, Co Co. Sala. He has even competed on Food Network, underscoring that he is no newcomer to the pastry world.

Likes: Everything chocolate.
Dislikes: Limited open hours.

Food & Drinks: The lunch and dinner menus are the same, and chocolate-infused or garnished dishes include crispy calamari, bacon mac & cheese, and fries appetizers. Entrées include cocoa-rubbed NY strip steak, seared scallops, beef sliders and tapioca tater tots with the same chocolatey edge. And if you drop by for brunch, the burger, the waffle and the french toast have chocolate flavoring. Many of the drinks and desserts have that chocolate kick, too. The kitchen offers standard chocolate-free dishes as well. Ask about the cocktails and wines available from the small bar.
