Just steps from the historic district, this wine and whiskey bar is tucked into the Curtis Center, home to Dream Garden, the must-see Tiffany mural open for viewing by day. Although opened with a southern accent, the menu has morphed into gastropub comfort fare. Start with one of 40 sipping whiskeys, one of 20 wines by the glass or a draft craft beer, such as the Belgian-style Three Philosophers. Then follow with deviled eggs or andouille mussels or a notable grilled whole rainbow trout served with truffled risotto. For dessert, try the chocolate bourbon molten cake. Lunch offers a good $9 combo deal, or come by for happy hour with munches like chipotle wings and mac ā€˜n’ cheese just $5 from 5 p.m.-7 p.m.
