Lulu, let the good times roll at Copeland's of New Orleans, a Southern-style restaurant with a mighty big menu. Starring such New Orleans flavors as the Creole Andouille sausage, red beans and rice, shrimp étouffée, and shrimp and redfish creole and the Cajun specials of blackened chicken and blackened redfish. Most of the main courses have a Louisiana lilt, but you can find mainstream dishes like burgers, prime rib, and Caesar salad. The menu rotates dishes several times a year, but one mainstay seems to be their Cajun gumbo ya ya, a stew with shrimp, scallops and seasonings. It's a lusty combo of zingy flavors, and if you want an inkling of what New Orleans cooking is all about, you might want to start here. Like to begin your Sundays with a bang?
