Cosi Restaurant Review: Coffee by day, bar by night? You bet. Così has a split personality that seems to work pretty well. Step up to the counter and order from a full line of coffee-inspired beverages, and snack on grilled panini, pastries, sandwiches or salads. Seasonal specials might include a lobster salad sandwich, cheese-and-herb-infused "squagels" (sort of a square bagel) or pumpkin spice latte. After 4 p.m., there’s a full bar (which has been cleverly concealed behind a large mural) and table service. Coffee-based alcoholic drinks and the same food items, including flatbread pizzas, are available until the late-night closing. Kids are welcome during the day, but evenings are reserved for a mature crowd. |
