THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Cosmos Cafe Restaurant Review

: THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED Don't be fooled by the bare-bones divey décor here. It masks a highly versatile kitchen, which enlivens American cooking with global influences---notably Italian, Mexican, Thai and Greek. The menu concentrates on sandwiches, salads and burgers; but, for a heavenly introduction, indulge in the wickedly warm green chile stew. Char-grilled burgers are also out of this world, both literally and figuratively. Named after phases of the moon and laden with unusual toppings, they are substantial enough to require a knife and fork. Laid-back Cosmos Café is not swarming with hungry hordes because everyone thinks it’s just a bar with live music. The service is friendly and efficient, and the co-owner/cook often stops by during the meal. On a nice evening, sit on the patio and ponder the constellations.
