Go to Country Fare with a big appetite. You'll be served food once common on the ranch, now uncommonly good here. Each main dish includes corn soup, ranch house salad with the famous Cattlemen's house dressing, a side of vegetables, whipped potatoes, cream gravy and honey-kissed biscuits, all served family-style. Be smart and pay the small surcharge to split the big main dish with someone else at your table. Located in historic Stockyards City, next door to the famous Cattlemen's Restaurant and having the same owner, some of the best steaks in town are served here. We especially like the tender, juicy rib-eye. We're also happy to find the wonderful lamb fries, something not available in many Oklahoma City restaurants. When you leave, you might swear you hear someone yelling, Yeehaw!
