What if you could have your choice of Cuban, Mexican or Spanish food all in the same restaurant? If that appeals, check out Country Flame. You have to like a place that makes first-rate margaritas, and even delivers them to your hotel or doorstep (within the French Quarter). Tostones, quesadillas and ropa vieja are all the rage here, but a surprisingly tasty assortment of good old American barbecued food is available, too. In a town not particularly known for barbecue, the baby-back ribs are a standout menu item; the T-bone and rib-eye steaks are not bad, either. Daily specials run the gamut from Mexican pizzas to enchilada dinners to crispy fried shrimp platters. Dessert is flan, and there is a perfunctory offering of beer and wine, but this is margarita country.
