THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Coyote Creek Pizza Restaurant Review:
The South of the Border décor may confuse you, until you realize that these suburban pizza palaces owe more to the Wolfgang Puck School of Pizza than to Neapolitan tradition. You can go the pepperoni route or be adventurous and order the Crustacean Creation---prawns, spinach, garlic and goat cheese over yeasty dough. Cracked Dungeness crab adorns a pie with a cracker-like crust, along with artichokes and cheddar cheese. We like Popeyes Pleasure, garlicky sautéed spinach under a Gorgonzola and pine nut blanket on an olive oil-flavored crust. Humongous calzones are just as good as the pizza. Not in a pie mood? There are numerous salads to choose from, as well as panini and a quartet of pastas. Check the blackboard for a short but serviceable wine and beer list.
