Cracked Crab Restaurant Review: This is the sort of crab shack you’d expect to find overlooking the beach, especially when you get your big bucket of seafood boil dumped on the table along with sausage, potatoes and corn. Some might quibble at the price, especially given the casual surroundings, but you can always count on the freshest possible product (the menu is written up daily), and crab options might well include local Dungeness or Alaskan Bairdi. If a bib and shell crackers aren’t your style, go for something like the king crab leg po’ boy, grilled opah with basmati rice, or a bowl of the crab bisque --- arguably the signature dish. Steaks, chicken and vegetable dishes are also available, and if you have room for one of the desserts, opt for the Key lime pie. There’s a good local wine list as well.
