| Frank Crispo has been helming the kitchens at various New York restaurants for years. Now at his own place, his inventive Mediterranean dishes begin with antipasti ranging from sausage-stuffed sage leaves to mozzarella fritta. The affettati choices include hot and sweet soppressata, provolone and caponata as well as prosciutto and creamy polenta. When it comes to pasta, try the bucatini alla amatriciana with guanciale and pecorino. For meatier fare, the seared duck breast accompanied by figs and port is a winner. |
