THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Crustacean Restaurant Review:

Bringing a slice of French Colonial Vietnamese culture to the Strip, Helene An and her family have replicated their legendary Beverly Hills Crustacean in the Aladdin Desert Passage, with its own valet entrance on Harmon Avenue. The stunning two-story restaurant features artifacts the An family brought from Vietnam to decorate the bustling bars, cozy first-floor dining room, private rooms and second-level dining room furnished with plush couches and banquettes. Family recipes dominate the imaginative menu that starts with an extensive selection of tapas. The sushi is sublime, as is the herbed salmon roulade with herbed vermouth sauce and pancetta-corn relish. We also like the five-spice roasted poussin accompanied by Israeli couscous. Meat lovers go for the herb-crusted Colorado spring lamb with appealing preparations of seasonal vegetables, and the Szechuan peppercorn-crusted filet of beef with brandy demi-glaze and grilled red onions. Save room for the white chocolate-macadamia nut and banana mousse cake with orange-caramel sauce. A jazz band is featured during dinner on Fridays and Saturdays. Crustacean's Prana nightclub is a popular hangout for cocktails.
