The Cuddy Restaurant Review

: A cuddy is a small cabin offering shelter; The Cuddy restaurant is inspired by this idea, and it shows, from its maritime d├ęcor to its warm, welcoming personnel. The menu highlights the proximity to the shore, with unique and creative seafood offerings like ceviche-style cured black sea bass or a salmon sandwich on a brioche bun with truffle fries. Also featured is more down-to-earth pub fare, lending a comfort food feel. Highlights include the Cuddy burger with house-made condiments, as well as revisited versions of classics like scallops and grits or fried chicken and scallion waffles with truffle. The wine list offers both local and international bottles, and the beer selection includes both bottles and four domestic draught choices. Cocktail fans are sure to find something they like on the varied menu. Desserts continue in the same vein, with Fluffernutter pain perdu and a strawberry bread pudding with granola.
